Pakistanis Receiving Fraudulent South African Passports to Enter US Illegally

Pakistani nationals are being given fraudulent passports from South Africa so they have an easier time walking into the U.S. —This according to an internal email sent to Border Patrol.
The email highlights that two Pakistani nationals using passports from the from the republic of South Africa that didn’t belong to them were encountered by Yuma agents—One of the individuals was deemed an Inconclusive match on a terrorist screening database meaning that the National Targeting Center has a record of a potential terrorist and there’s a person in custody who matches the description but they don’t have enough information to confirm it’s the same person—So they will require additional vetting.
The individuals said that their original passports were taken and the fraudulent ones were provided by their human smuggler who was operating between South Africa and Pakistan—And they were told they should not use their Pakistani passports.
