Harris is giving Trump more attention at her rallies because “he’s becoming increasingly unstable and unhinged, and it requires a response,” she said in Detroit on Saturday.
Harris has been showing video clips of Trump to her rally audiences and then responding to them. This is a tactic Trump has used at his rallies, but his videos include memes and pop-culture references. He continues to insult Harris’s intelligence, while Democrats, including Obama, have questioned Trump’s competency themselves.
“I think the American people are seeing it, witnessing it in real time. And we must take note of the fact that this is an individual who wants to be president of the United States,” Harris told reporters ahead of an event in Detroit. “And I think the American people deserve better than someone who actually seems to be unstable.”
