Door Knocking and Stealing


Protesters voiced concerns about crime and the lack of infrastructure at the site, with local officials and residents calling out ongoing issues like package theft and solicitation. “We have these migrants coming in, door knocking, stealing packages, you know, soliciting everywhere in front of our supermarkets, playing at the heartstrings of people,” Assemblywoman Jaime Williams said. Williams is one of many who have expressed frustration at the ongoing migrant crisis happening across the city.
