LAS VEGAS, Nev. (FOX5) - The Las Vegas teen accused of running a “lone-wolf” ISIS operation had previously threatened to commit a school shooting, according to new court documents.
Joshua Robles faces multiple felony terrorism charges from incidents in 2022 and 2023. Prosecutors alleged Robles intended to support ISIS, saying Robles gathered explosive material “to target one or more areas within Clark County, NV.”
New documents shed light on the specific threats made regarding potential ISIS terror plots, along with the 2020 threat made toward his middle school.
On March 10, 2020, Robles was reported for allegedly making threats toward Cannon Middle School. Two students told Clark County School District Police that Robles talked about shooting up the school and “[a]ccording to the two students, Robles says similar things on a daily basis.”
Documents show Robles was suspended and referred to The Harbor, a facility for troubled teens in the school district.
