Analyzing ice cores is climate science.
Using satellite data to measure gases in the Earth's atmosphere is science.
Analyzing tree rings and fossils to measure past climate is science.

Running computer models to predict future climate is speculative.

If they can't get the local 24 hour or 7 day weather forecast correctly, why should I trust climate predictions for future years?
