This took place during a public event where Trump was discussing the state of the nation and his 2024 run.Trump asked the reporter, “Who are you with?” The reporter replied, “NBC with the full team.” That was all Trump needed to launch into a blistering critique of the network’s coverage. “NBC? NBC fake news. Tell me, have you done a story on Afghanistan today?” Trump asked, clearly irked. “No, have you done that story, NBC? You know, the press never talks about Afghanistan. The most embarrassing moment in history.
