In Case You Missed It Dept.:

The United Center in Chicago is encircled by a large wall to protect the Democratic Convention from street chaos. On Friday before the convention, 20 people were shot and 4 murdered in Chicago. VP candidate Tim Walz heard the news and decided to stay behind and address the conference via Zoom.

The Democratic Convention parked an abortion and vasectomy van outside the arena in Chicago. I'm just going to take a wild guess that the van is not sponsored by Gerber's.

In addition to a bus giving free abortions and vasectomies, the DNC will also have an unmarked white van to teach kids about gender and sexuality.

Bill Clinton will address the Democratic Convention tonight and show this crowd what it's like to see a real star. He's a Southern white Democrat who believed in private property, free markets, and free speech, not to mention free love. It's no accident they asked Bill Clinton to speak on Hump Day.

Sometimes the jokes write themselves. Last night the Democrats laid out their Vision for America and, I swear, opened the evening with Stevie Wonder.

If you doubt that the Almighty has a sense of humor, consider that the Democrats asked Bill Clinton to address the convention on Hump Day.

Democratic Party delegates poured into Chicago and the convention began at the United Center Monday. Opening night was carefully staged. The convention officially began down the street when the party's VP candidate Tim Walz and his wife officiated at the ceremonial lighting of the police station.

I'm watching Joe Biden's convention speech and I'm finally convinced the cocaine found at the White House last year was not Hunter's.

The Democratic Convention is producing so much manufactured Joy you could bottle it and use it to wash dishes.

The Democratic Convention was gaveled to order Monday with all four broadcast networks and three major cable news channels covering the action live. It’s fun. The first headline speaker of the week last night was President Biden, who accepted the party’s nomination before being ushered offstage.

Politico reports the Harris-Walz campaign have begun selling military camouflage caps online for supporters to wear calling them Camo Caps. Last week a helpful media encouraged Americans to take a really good look at Tim Walz and I think I’ve got it. He played the skipper on Gilligan’s Island.

Kamala Harris rode the wave of an adoring media over the weekend and tied Donald Trump in some of the polls. Kamala was lauded for being the first presidential candidate in history who once worked at a McDonald's. But she only got the job because she had a personal relationship with Ronald.

Democratic VP candidate Tim Walz declared in a speech to cheering Philadelphians that during his life he's carried the weapons of war into a war. His Army unit members promptly pointed out he bailed out of going to Iraq with them. Maybe he meant he marched into Minneapolis with a gasoline can.

Kamala Harris in her Philadelphia rally campaign speech railed against Voter ID laws which she says robs people of their fundamental rights. Democrats discern a clever conspiracy. First the Republicans say that illegal aliens are illegal, next they're going to want to take away their voting rights.

Politico reported Saturday that Kamala succeeded in uniting Democrats but noted that her staff is not getting along with Biden holdovers. Kamala's VP selection should keep the comedians busy. Tim Walz will join Kamala Harris in Detroit today unless it's too dangerous and then he will stay behind.

Politico assessed white men are Trump voters, white women and black women are Kamala voters, as Indo-Americans fume over Kamala downplaying her Indian heritage. It's all about racial identity politics. I believe you should never judge anybody by the color of their skin, that's what the media is for.

President Biden said Sunday he was pushed out of the race by party elders since he might hurt House and Senate candidates. Kamala was installed without one vote and Trump gets sentenced in New York in 4 weeks. The number one clothing store in Venezuelan shopping malls is American Republic.

The Washington Post noted Monday that Kamala is taking her opponent’s themes. She ran for the Senate as an Indian, then she ran for VP as an African American, and now she’s running for President as a Trump. Her Netflix series will be called Brown is the New Black is That Is Now Orange.

The Taliban celebrated the 3rd year anniversary of the U.S. evacuation and displayed all the U.S. military equipment left behind when we flew out. The evacuation caused a lot of Afghans to convert to Scientology. They were hoping it would allow them to hang on to airliner wings like Tom Cruise does.

Thanks, Pookie!

Rumor has it Ms. Harris will write a book on getting into political positions.
They're going to call it the Kamala Sutra.

Of all tyrannies, a tyranny sincerely exercised for the good of its victims may be the most oppressive. It would be better to live under robber barons than under omnipotent moral busybodies. The robber baron's cruelty may sometimes sleep, his cupidity may at some point be satiated; but those who torment us for our own good will torment us without end for they do so with the approval of their own conscience.

Mega Maga Monday morning thank-yous, Pookie! ;D

Most people are burnt out on superhero movies. But what if some REAL heroes showed up? Perhaps as soon as early next year...

Hopefully they'll show up before the anti-heroes return:

Meanwhile, the battle between good and evil keeps going on:

Donald Trump 2020-2024;  "Because he's the hero America needs, but not the one it deserves right now. So we'll hunt him. Because he can take it. Because he's not just a hero. He's an outspoken guardian, a watchful protector. A dark knight." ---Commisioner James "Jim" Gordon, "The Dark Knight", 2008
"Separation of church and state! Ain't it great? It's our fate! To "tolerate." Oh, the cultures we'll create! Celebrate! Our horrid fate! Separation of church and state! It's so great! To humiliate..."

Chorus line (repeat three times): "Not so great." :(
