Three migrants from Tajikistan who were arrested in the US for allegedly having ties to ISIS used the Biden-Harris administration’s CBP One app to get into the country, a new report revealed.
Additionally, at least 99 other suspected terrorists have been released into the US in the last two years after crossing the southern border, according to data the Department of Homeland Security (DHS) provided to the House Judiciary Committee.
The Biden administration rolled out the CBP One entry program for asylum seekers in January 2023 in anticipation of the end of the Trump-era expulsion COVID-era order known as Title 42. From that point, migrants could schedule their entry appointments on the app while in Mexico — with the idea that only those using the app would be allowed to claim asylum.
