With all due respect, this is rather naïve.  This was exactly the John McCain and Mitt Romney strategy, and what did it accomplish, except losing?

McCain's strategy from the close of the RNC Convention was to lose.  He likely voted for Obama.
If a political party does not have its foundation in the determination to advance a cause that is right and that is moral, then it is not a political party; it is merely a conspiracy to seize power.     -Dwight Eisenhower-

"The [U.S.] Constitution is a limitation on the government, not on private individuals ... it does not prescribe the conduct of private individuals, only the conduct of the government ... it is not a charter for government power, but a charter of the citizen's protection against the government."     -Ayn Rand-

Worrying whether Kamala Harris is black or not is how you lose elections. Who gives a bleep about her skin color.

I thought the whole tweet was great, but this part in particular was excellent.  Trump had the perfect forum to explain why race doesn't matter, and why black voters shouldn't vote for Kamala just because she's black.

He could have pointed out that illegal immigration hurts black people even more than white people.  That crazy leftist ideas like men calling themselves women and using women's bathrooms or competing in women's sports isn't something that most black Americans support.  And that most black people, just like most white people, want to live in neighborhoods and not live in fear from criminals, and not watch their livelihoods and local stores forced out by thieves.

He could have asked black people what sense it makes to vote for someone with bad ideas that hurt your community just because they have darker skin?  And that he's there to ask black Americans to vote for the candidate whose ideas will help them the most, even if that candidate happens to be white.

Instead, he acted like race was so important that he had to question Kamala's.

In watching him live, I was taken back with his focus on what race is she.  His sitting going, is she an Indian?  Now she says she is black.  Then I saw the clip of her claiming to be the first woman from southeast Asia to be VP, no mention of being black at all, and I understood what he was saying.

She plays to whoever's vote she is chasing.  She is all about identity politics.  And frankly, I do not care what color she is, I care about her being well grounded in Marxism, having been raised in a Marxist household.  I care that she is now embracing those Marxist roots and is now on the cusp of continuing Biden's efforts to destroy this nation, only her effort will be well elevated like it is on steroids.

Harris is a true threat to this nation.  A far greater threat than any external enemy force.  If she wins, days days are ahead, that is for certain.  Every bad player will have zero respect for her or the USA.
