Just because kids are afraid of the Boogeyman doesn't make the Boogeyman real.  And just because Republicans are afraid of a Michele O candidacy doesn't make it real either.  It's literally something that appears to exist only in GOP nightmares, because there isn't even the barest hint of it being a reality otherwise.

Well, we'll just have to watch and see.  Secondly, then are you of the opinion that Barrack hasn't been running things???

If Joe steps down, per the constitution Kamel is next in succession.  So, at this point if they are planning to insert someone they would have to have her step down as well.

Joe is the presumptive nominee -- they would have to change the rules at the convention and insert someone else -- so -- in essence DEM voters don't get to pick the nominee??

Also -- wouldn't they need to delay the general election?? Aren't  they starting to print the ballots and what about the delegates pledged to Joe?

I still think that the eventual  DEM ticket will include Big Mike.  Obama is running the show and this has been the plan for quite some time. He wants his 3rd term or perhaps it should be considered his 4th.

Not if they don't nominate her.  Her term ends Jan. 20, 2025.  So if they do not nominate her, she is not entitled to the office (or the presidency) after 1/20/2025.

I have little interest in streamlining government or in making it more efficient, for I mean to reduce its size. I do not undertake to promote welfare, for I propose to extend freedom. My aim is not to pass laws, but to repeal them.

Political parties are not government entities and can, as we have seen, do pretty much anything they want. They make their own rules.
"I wish it need not have happened in my time," said Frodo.

"So do I," said Gandalf, "and so do all who live to see such times. But that is not for them to decide. All we have to decide is what to do with the time that is given us."

MO has no interest in running for prez, and has said so repeatedly.

She hasn’t just said no

She’s talked about how it almost ruined her marriage and how she was so happy when they finally left the White House. From every interview I’ve seen or statement she’s made, she was extremely unhappy in the White House

These  “Michelle Obama’s gonna run” conspiracies are made by the same people who claim she’s a male. Democrats wanting her to wrong, and her wanting to run are two different things

You can’t force somebody to run for president. And to campaign and win, you have to have your heart into it

Newsome may hint at wanting it but California has fallen apart under him. I haven’t heard anything from Whitmer either way. Beshear Is a moderate southern governor, but he would never get past the progressive wing. They could try  Sanders. But despite Trump’s high negatives with voters , it’s unlikely they’re gonna elect an avowed communist over him. And the Democrats aren’t dumb enough to put Kamala Harris front and center

They may very well be stuck with Biden
