No surprise.  Didn't McConnell vow that Trump would be a one term president??

I refuse to endorse Mitch McConnell for anything but immediate retirement.
"I wish it need not have happened in my time," said Frodo.

By being in a leadership position for so long, a strong argument could be made that he has done more damage than any non-POTUS democrat.

Basically, an enemy within.
I display the Confederate Battle Flag in honor of my great great great grandfathers who spilled blood at Wilson's Creek and Shiloh.  5 others served in the WBTS with honor too.

... until Mitch's head retreats into his shell, and he does endorse Trump.

IMHO, Mitch was responsible for the GOP majority in both houses sitting on their hands for the two years they had the trifecta. Bloody little got done. If the Dems had been in the same position, we'd be a lot deeper in their agenda.

Of all tyrannies, a tyranny sincerely exercised for the good of its victims may be the most oppressive. It would be better to live under robber barons than under omnipotent moral busybodies. The robber baron's cruelty may sometimes sleep, his cupidity may at some point be satiated; but those who torment us for our own good will torment us without end for they do so with the approval of their own conscience.
