The Southern York County School District school board on Thursday night faced fierce pushback from parents and members of the public opposing the panel’s plans to restore the district’s Indian warrior logo.
During the public comment section of a five-hour meeting, parents assailed board members for lacking humanity and cultural sensitivity, standing on the wrong side of history, disrespecting the opinion of children and steam-rolling along the wishes of the district with a far-right conservative agenda.
