Comments are regularly made, sometimes also as a conclusion, about the natural character of processes. Not only in the alarmist literature, but also in the articles that are posted here and also in the comments of our industrious readers, who know exactly what is right and wrong about alarmism.
So, a dam in a ditch made of wood by a beaver is a natural occurrence. A hole in a railway embankment, made by a badger because he had to make a hiding place for himself, is also a very natural occurrence.
But... if there is an increase in CO2 in the atmosphere because we burn fossil fuels, then that should not be called a natural process. We probably wouldn't have fallen over it if it hadn't had such disastrous consequences – a doubling of the CO2 in the atmosphere that could lead to a warming of 8 degrees C by now – and in any case has "visible" because measurable consequences: you can measure that the concentration of CO2 in the atmosphere has increased, thanks to the use of fossil energy sources as a result of the Industrial Revolution.
