In a new wide-ranging interview, legendary singer Cher threatened to leave the country if former President Donald Trump wins the 2024 election.

“I almost got an ulcer the last time,” Cher said. “If he gets in, who knows? This time I will leave [the country].”

The former president has maintained a continuous lead over his fellow Republican presidential rivals. In 2016, Cher had previously threatened to "leave the planet" if he won the presidential race.

Trump has rolled the singer on social media over the years, responding to her various political commentaries.

In 2019, Cher posted in her mostly all-caps style about how Los Angeles is ill-equipped to deal with a large influx of illegal immigrants.

These celebrities make threats like this. What they are hoping for is their threats convince people to vote the way they want

Then they find out people don't care if they leave or not so they back down
