The American Government is riddled with Muslims and Islamic supporters leftover from the Obama term. Some of them are in very sensitive positions with access to highly classified information. Pentagon, Congress, State Department, and the White House are lousy with supporters of Islam and Islamic goals. As demonstrated openly and proudly by the Hamas cheerleaders known as 'the squad', and the seemingly unending blind support for Iran from the State Department.
No matter how much America claims to want to help Israel with the war, it would be reckless/foolish for Israel to trust America with any real ground level operational details. Somehow, in some mysterious way, through cosmic consciousness transcendental psychic waves, that information ALWAYS winds up in the hands of Iran, the PLO, Hezbollah, and Hamas.
If Israel confides with America in wartime operational details, the plans should always be the opposite of what Israel actually intends to do. The only exception would be in coordinating air support operations if American air forces will be in the area.
