DeSantis Hits All-Time Low in Delegate Forecast, Holds Crisis Talks With Donors.

Florida man Ron DeSantis is at an all-time low in GOP delegate number predictions, dropping more than 400 since declaring his candidacy, according to ‘Race to the WH,’ which tracks the latest GOP polling data.

DeSantis was predicted to receive around 1,413 delegates as late as February 25 this year, leading former President Donald Trump by almost 400. Since then, support for DeSantis has dropped precipitously, with the Governor now forecasted to receive only 405 delegate votes, down from 834 on May 25 – the day after his “historic screw-up” presidential campaign launch on Twitter spaces.

Former President Donald Trump, on the other hand, is leading the Republican primary race in 49 US states and is expected to receive as many as 2051 delegate votes in a head-to-head with DeSantis: far more than the necessary 1,234 to win the race for the Republican presidential nomination.

Worse still for DeSantis, Trump is predicted to attain a “decisive” victory in his home state of Florida, where the former President is predicted to receive 45 percent of the vote and gain 125 delegates.

He doesn’t appear to be running a very good campaign. His wife is more energetic and dynamic than he is

I don’t see where he’s going to be the 2024 nominee. Maybe this is just a practice run for 2028. After eight years of a Democrat in the White House, his chances may improve
I have little interest in streamlining government or in making it more efficient, for I mean to reduce its size. I do not undertake to promote welfare, for I propose to extend freedom. My aim is not to pass laws, but to repeal them.

Problem is that Trump makes everybody look low energy. That's what all-hat-no-cattle does. The problem is effectiveness. Sure Trump got some low hanging fruit the last time, and I give him some credit for that, but to carry us forward and build from that - Trump just isn't that guy.

All the energy and hype isn't going to help the fact that when given a chance to really crush the Deep State, Trump demurred and it cost us big.

Trump certainly has a strong base of support and can definitely attract a crowd. The problem is when it comes to general elections.

And that’s the trap that the Republican Party is currently in. No Republican can win their primary election without the MAGA endorsement. But that endorsement is used by the Democrat opponent in the general election to their advantage

Call me old fashioned, but I remember when white nationalists were actually white Protestants purely of northwestern European descent.

Some of the newer white nationalists would have been lynched by the old school white nationalists.

The world no longer makes sense.

Sounds like GOP voters would rather lose loudly with Trump next November.

Hopefully they’ll take the Senate and hold the House, blunting the left’s assault on America.

Well, I'm still of the steadfast opinion that IF the GOP doesn't manage to seat a true conservative in '24, we'll no doubt lose our Republic -- we may not make it to the '24 election to begin with.

All the news and polls about DeSantis shows him without a chance of surpassing Trump.

Well, there's no chance of Trump winning the WH so hold onto your seats.  The DEMS will remain in power.

Fully agree.

Every conservative needs to withold funds from Tumpy, and more wisely spend it toward retaining the House and acquiring the Senate.
