Assuming arguendo that the judge's contributions violated applicable NY judicial ethics rules, given the amount, the worst the judge is likely to get is a private reprimand, which means the public will never learn of it.

This helps Trump in terms of public perception, but I believe nothing of substance will happen to the judge.
