White House 'Having a Spasm and Panicking' Over OPEC Oil Cut

A looming OPEC cut in oil production has the White House hyperventilating, and for good reason. As RedState previously reported, the oil cartel, which will meet on Wednesday, is planning to cut production by over one million barrels. That move would cause already spiking oil prices to rise further just before the mid-term elections, an outcome the Biden administration is desperately attempting to avoid.

According to CNN, the talks have broken down, though, and now Joe Biden and his handlers are “having a spasm and panicking.”

    Members of the Saudi-led oil cartel and its allies including Russia, known as OPEC+, are expected to announce production cuts potentially up to more than one million barrels per day. That would be the largest cut since the beginning of the pandemic and could lead to a dramatic spike in oil prices.

    Some of the draft talking points circulated by the White House to the Treasury Department on Monday that were obtained by CNN framed the prospect of a production cut as a “total disaster” and warned that it could be taken as a “hostile act.”

    “It’s important everyone is aware of just how high the stakes are,” said a US official of what was framed as a broad administration effort that is expected to continue in the lead up to the Wednesday OPEC+ meeting.

    The White House is “having a spasm and panicking,” another US official said, describing this latest administration effort as “taking the gloves off.” According to a White House official, the talking points were being drafted and exchanged by staffers and not approved by White House leadership or used with foreign partners.

Oh it was! Day one Biden shut down a pipeline that was over a decade and a billion dollars in the works. That was just the beginning.

Of course, every single step he has taken has been in the WRONG direction, but he's been picking 'em up and puttin' 'em down...

The irony is that there isn't time enough to fix by 2024 what he has broken, even if he reversed every policy he's pushed from day one.

He's been hoist 'pon his own petard, and the Saudis are just making sure of it.

Look at how disastrous they have done to this nation, and yet how fervently they worship Biden and demand Trump trashed regardless as to how Trump was bringing America back to the forefront of nations, and Biden forcing America off the precipice before the nations of the world.  Forcing America down the list of world nations, into the midst of 3rd world nation was never a positive direction for us to go in.  Don't forget Afghanistan/pipe line as a clear indicator.
