Here’s One Way We Could Refreeze Earth’s Melting Polar Ice
Tim Newcomb - Yesterday 4:24 PM

Scientists believe tanker planes could spray sulfur dioxide aerosol in the upper atmosphere over Earth’s poles to help them refreeze.

The temperatures of Earth’s poles could be cooled by about 2 degrees Celsius, the study says, costing about $11 billion annually.

But this proposal comes with risks, and it’s not a final solution to climate change—just a Band-Aid.

Faced with the growing threat of a warming world, scientists continue to concoct new concepts for stabilizing Earth’s temperatures. The latest entrant is a plan published in Environmental Research Communications that calls for high-altitude tanker planes to spray aerosol particles over Earth’s subpolar regions. Once in place, they would help deflect incoming solar radiation.

The ice caps are NOT melting. They are now both growing, year-over-year, after some shrinkage in the early part of the century.

You'd think these idiots would bother to actually look at the measurements.  But that would risk challenging their faith.
"The most terrifying force of death, comes from the hands of Men who wanted to be left Alone. They try, so very hard, to mind their own business and provide for themselves and those they love. They resist every impulse to fight back, knowing the forced and permanent change of life that will come from it. They know, that the moment they fight back, their lives as they have lived them, are over. -Alexander Solzhenitsyn

Easier, cheaper way to do the same:  just make a blend of jet fuel with a little extra sulphur included that is used only on flights using great circle routes over the Arctic (and Antarctic).  The effects can be readily controlled by raising or lowering the concentration, and turned off by simply going back to the standard sulphur-free jet fuels.
And when they behead your own people in the wars which are to come, then you will know what this was all about.

But, that would require acceptance of the loony tunes premise that man made global warming is a threat to civilization, and that we must now suffer through any government imposed hardship to avoid that.

Not really, we used to allow more sulphur in jet fuel before the older eco-scare of "acid rain".  The mix is probably cheaper than what's being used now, and it would make the greenies feel better.

Scientists attempt to "re-freeze" the poles?
What could go wrong?

See the post apocalyptic film "Snowpiercer":

You can find it on the net if you know "where to look"...

Freezing the poles is a temporary, stop-gap measure.  We need a more permanent solution ... blowup the sun.

Knew this movie was prophthetic, but not 480 years earlier than I thought.
I display the Confederate Battle Flag in honor of my great great great grandfathers who spilled blood at Wilson's Creek and Shiloh.  5 others served in the WBTS with honor too.
