Russia not taking Gen. Mark Milley's phone calls

Gen. Mark Milley, the Pentagon swamp creature who brought us the Afghanistan pullout and turned the U.S. military focus to "white rage," doesn't seem to be able get Russia's generals, now bombing Ukraine, to return his phone calls.

According to the Washington Post:

    Repeated attempts by the United States' top defense and military leaders to speak with their Russian counterparts have been rejected by Moscow for the last month, leaving the world's two largest nuclear powers in the dark about explanations for military movements and raising fears of a major miscalculation or battlefield accident.

    Since Russia's invasion of Ukraine, Defense Secretary Lloyd Austin and Gen. Mark A. Milley, the chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff, have tried to set up phone calls with Defense Minister Sergei Shoigu and Gen. Valery Gerasimov but the Russians "have so far declined to engage," said Pentagon spokesman John Kirby in a statement Wednesday.

    The attempted calls by Austin and Milley, which have not previously been reported, come as Russia conducts operations near the borders of NATO members Poland and Romania while the United States and its European allies conduct air-policing operations over the Baltic Sea and pour weapons and equipment into Ukraine by ground transport.

This is weird stuff.

After all, wasn't Milley the one who assured the Chinese generals they had nothing to worry about from the U.S. during President Trump's exit because he'd give China the heads-up if any warlike activity against them was coming down?  You'd think the Russians might figure they could get something like that to their advantage out of Milley, too.

It is worrisome that the Russian general staff are not maintaining lines of communication with the U.S. - the benefits thereof go both ways - on the other hand, given Putin's evident paranoia, they may have all decided that talking to an American would be used against them as a pretext for treason, and lead to a quick dangle off a yardarm.

Milley has become an international joke, along with Kamala, Biden, and his entire staff.

Once Milley betrayed the office of the President by telling China that he was 'looking out for them' in regard to any military actions POTUS may take, in a global perspective that makes him a traitor. Many countries around the globe do not trust turncoats and traitors under any circumstances, including when they claim to want to 'help' them. It is a loss of respect. If Milley were in Russia or China, or dozens of other countries around the world, he would have been executed by now.

Even though being 'woke' is the center of the universe in America, most countries outside of America think it is silly, stupid, and even insane. Once Milley changed the focus of the American military away from actual military issues and instead began to focus on nonsensical 'woke' issues, he degraded the perception of American might and resolve into a bunch of fairy clowns.

It seems obvious that Milley and Austin do not understand how what they do is perceived on an international scale. The leaders of foreign militaries are killers. If they are in a position of power it is because they are smart, shrewd, and ruthless. The very last thing they have time to think about is whether or not some panty wearing gay-boy got his feelings hurt, or if some minority or another feels they are 'oppressed'. You are a soldier, dammit! Buck up and get over it!

The point I am trying to make is, Biden's staff think that their woke, enlightened, mindset applies internationally. It does not. To most of the world, America's focus on frivolous nonsense causes America to be perceived as facetious and lacking seriousness. The world as a whole is saying clearly by refusing to take calls from Biden and his staff, that they do not have time to play patty-cake make believe with unserious, childish amatures.

The world is saying clearly by their actions that they believe talking to anyone in the Biden administration is a waste of time and will accomplish nothing.
