It is time for TAXPAYER GREED!!! Yeah, that's right. Forthwith, the taxpayer collects an additional 10% from all revenues from these ballparks, stadiums, arenas, etc, and et al forthwith. For it is the TAXPAYER that built every one of these facilities. Should it not be the taxpayer that also benefits from these facilities and their operations? Too much money going to owners and players, and not nearly enough to the TAXPAYER!!!!!!!!! The taxpayer that provided the space for all these unAmerican POSs to become multi millionaires. 10%, heck, make that 20%!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I come from Pittsburgh, where they destroyed Three Rivers Stadium, with $68 million still in debt, to build two new stadiums at a cost of $400 million, DESPITE THE ELECTORATE IN THE TEN COUNTIES THAT SURROUND PITTSBURGH THAT VOTED 70% AGAINST THE IDEA OF SPENDING $400 MILLION ON TWO NEW STADIUMS. Yeah, democracy at work. Hmmm!
