Again supporting my suspicion that "global" warming is mostly Arctic warming, and has as a significant cause soot from coal burning in China, India, Russia (and to a lesser extent Poland and other former Soviet bloc states in Eastern Europe). The climate alarmists models misattribute changes in Arctic albedo to a secondary effect of greenhouse gas warming (changes in ice crystal size) ignoring the empirical evidence of light absorbing impurities in the ice and ice melt water -- a direct cause unrelated to greenhouse gasses, even if it is caused by fossil fuel use. Greenhouse warming cannot account for an asymmetry between Arctic and Antarctic, since CO2 is well-mixed in the atmosphere, there being no significant differences in concentration throughout the upper atmosphere.
They don't care about a version of anthropogenic climate change that could be fixed by the Chinese People's Congress, Russian State Duma and the parliaments of India, Poland and a few other countries passing analogues of the American Clean Air act and the executive power in those countries enforcing them. It doesn't create an excuse for the Federal Government and the European Commission (and British Parliament) to take over the energy sector on the plea of "saving the planet".
