If the arc of the Roman Republic/Empire is anything to go by, the American Empire is just beginning; it's the American Republic that appears to be fading away.

Where, in the Constitution, the Federalist, or anywhere else does it say we are supposed to be an "Empire"?

That's off mission, not part of the plan. We are supposed to be a Republic, and if we'd followed George Washington's advice, we would not be here.

Eunuch America, by political correctness rammed down its throat in society and even on the battlefield.  Those that castrate America are always democrats and socialists.  Those that always stood for American strength and power were well known Conservatives like Ronald Reagan, Trump, John Wayne, etc, hated by the left democrats.

Well,to be fair,America was never an empire.

Is America finished? Not yet. It all depends on the outcome of the 2022 and 2024 elections. Especially the 2024 election. If it is anybody BUT Trump,you can kiss America goodbye because it will be one of the favored political "princes" from a family of insiders. In other words,more of the same that got us to where we are now.

I don't know how to define, 'American Empire'. But it is true that America has no more military allies, including NATO and Israel. It is true that no country in the world trusts America anymore, or even takes America seriously. The 'WOKE JOKE' America is internationally isolated, and is mired in self-hate and self-persecution. If a foreign power invaded America today, I believe strongly that the current administration would join with the invaders and would punish American citizens for trying to stop them.

Don't know anything about an 'Empire', but the days of America as an international respected global power are certainly over. Nobody in the world believes a word they say, about everything. They will betray anyone and throw them to the wolves as soon as it becomes inconvenient, regardless of the consequences for their allies or how much damage results for rest of the entire world.
