THAT’S THE PLAN? Pentagon Chief Says Admin Was ‘Hopeful’ Taliban Would Be ‘Inclusive’
posted by Hannity Staff - 9.09.21

Secretary of Defense Lloyd Austin discussed the Taliban’s recently announced government for Afghanistan during a trip overseas this week, saying the intelligence community was “hopeful” that they would be “inclusive.”

“You know, I think the whole international community was hopeful that they would be inclusive as they kind of said they would be weeks and months ago, but we’ve not seen evidence of that early on,” Austin told reporters during a visit to Kuwait.

The list of ministers and other appointments of the new government did not include a single woman.

The government -according to the BBC- will be led by Mullah Mohammad Hassan Akhund, with Taliban founder Mullah Abdul Ghani Baradar as deputy.

To even "hope" the Taliban would be inclusive shows he is a complete imbecile.  Not only that, it shows how much PC infests today's military.  If there are hard core Muslims anywhere, it is the Taliban and as far as I know, women have about as many rights as earthworms with the Taliban. 10631

Allegedly ‘Modern’ Taliban Now Beating Women in the Street

I guess some things never change.

When President Joe Biden’s plans for leaving Afghanistan were revealed to be a misguided and dangerous expediting of a seriously worrisome situation, the administration began looking for ways to soften the blow.  One of the ways in which they tried to keep the word satiated was by suggesting that the Taliban, a terror organization that we’ve spent 20 years fruitlessly fighting, were somehow reformed, and, if they were to take over Afghanistan, they would do so in a much more moderate fashion than they ruled in the 1990’s.

As it turns out, unsurprisingly, you can’t trust terrorists.

Hundreds of Afghans, many of them women, protested in Kabul on Tuesday, chanting slogans against neighboring Pakistan and expressing support for rebels in the last part of the country resisting Taliban rule.

Video posted online showed protesters near the Pakistani Embassy in Kabul holding signs saying “#SanctionPakistan” and “#StandWithPanjshir.” Elsewhere on a street near the Iranian and Turkish
embassies, video emerged of Taliban fighters firing into the air to disperse the protests.
