After a year of lockdowns, California is open for business

Story at a glance

There are still travel restraints, giving outsiders a reason to stay home.
There are three tiers of capacity limitation in an event or activity: red, orange, and yellow.

California has a wide range of reopenings since its lockdown during COVID-19. It has been 13 months since theme parks, beaches, and sports arenas were open. April Fool's Day marks the return to some normalcy in The Golden State.

Although there are limitations on what Californians can do, two of the state's popular counties, Orange and Los Angeles, welcome back outdoor activities.

California's reopening comes as a surprise for some, considering that President Biden's recent address called on local and state leaders to slow down reopenings. However, the state upholds a mask mandate, social distancing in lines, and facilities are checking attendees' temperatures.

Recall cometh. As of yesterday AM, CA had nearly 5.5 million vaccine doses sitting in storage awaiting use. Recall cometh. Daily new cases and deaths have been plummeting since January. Recall cometh.
I am not and never have been a leftist.

If The Vaccine is deadly as anti-Covid-vaxxers claim, millions now living would have died.

After destroying countless lives with his arbitrary lockdown edicts it figures our greasy governor would make a big deal out of gifting Californians with a re-opening.

We'll see if its enough to reduce the level of contempt in his administration to save his greasy arse this fall.

This is "open for business??"  It's still locked down more tightly than the neighboring states.

I don’t owe tolerance to people who disagree with my existence.
I will NOT comply.

after seeing this article I thought maybe something happened overnight, but after checking nothings changed. We’re still mostly at Tier Orange, 25% indoor occupancy.
