No, I was never implying or thinking about any party affiliated with DC.  Why?  That would be counter productive. I like your ideas. IMHO it's not going to be long before we see some very strong leaders emerge or vacate DC.

We are on the same page. I am just trying to point out that every attempt to reform govt policies by sending people to DC has failed. Why keep doing the same thing and expect different results.

I think you're right. We will see more people emerge as the type of leaders we want soon and Trump may try to fix the Pub party in 2022, but when that fails I expect we will see a stronger push for a 3rd party. I just wish it would be sooner. Trump is the key. Even if he doesn't run for office again he is the head of the MAGA movement. Until he gives up on the Pub party no 3rd party will be viable.

This movement was never about Trump, but Trump did have the ability to bring millions of like minded, Keep America Great people together.  We need to consider Trump's age, give the man a break. He has been mentally abused for the past 4 years and it's been non-stop.

In my mind the GOP is dead and those mentioned above will be tossed out sooner rather than later ... you'll have the Romney's and McConnell's left ... let them stand there playing with their tiddliewinks.

Something is going to give here sooner or later;and it is going to be a tremendous uphill battle and maybe one that we cannot win.

He has all the "mojo" right now, but when he steps back I think we will see others emerge. I don't believe they will be as effective if they are career politicians who seek to stay in the Pub party.

I'm at that point in my life where I think it's well worth the effort to fight this uphill battle. I just won't give my time and energy to the Pub party. I will donate to a few of the MAGA Pubs who didn't quit on Trump.

I can't wait for the opportunity to donate time, money and whatever else is needed to save our way of life. I am not willing to surrender my faith and freedom to a tyrannical fascist govt.

Trump did a tremendous job of rallying people, like no one has ever been able to do.  That is the fear.  However, he is one man.  We need a 'team' of leaders, much like our forefathers to form and insert a renewed constitutional government.

God Bless America and have mercy on this country and stop the evil that has a stranglehold on her.  :patriot: :patriot:

It is so surprising how so many of the Pubs, conservative radio hosts, conservative media/news outlets act like everything was on the up and up with the Nov. elections.

@bilo

Not really. People THINKING you have power GIVES you power. There is no way in hell these political pros are going to admit they are powerless.

The Republicans have just given them "the targets".
Now we know just where the demo-communist underground election apparatus is going to "focus upon" in 2022...

A thought regarding all the talk about the emergence of a "third party"...

A lot of you folks think that if there was to be a "new party" -- for the sake of a name, let's call it "The Restoration Party" (for a restoration of republican/Constitutional government) -- it has to run candidates in opposition to solid existing Republican officeholders... are mistaken.

I'm thinking of the way the New York state Conservative worked, if I recall correctly.
Seems to me they didn't always run a candidate of their own for every office, but would "endorse" Republican (party line) candidates when those candidates were agreeable to them.

I see this as the path forward for a new party on a national basis.
Get established with an organization in as many red states and purple states as possible.
But become not "the opposition" party to Republicans, but something of a "parallel party" that will compete for Republican candidates in that such candidates will also seek a position on the Restoration Party as well.

If such candidates are acceptable, then accept their request and let them run on BOTH parties' tickets. How many smart candidates are going to decline such an opportunity?

Where the candidates are weak, then the Restoration party can compete with it's own candidates.

Thus, the new party can gradually build strength while paralleling and piggybacking on existing "Republican" officeholders -- who at some point in the future, might be persuaded to switch parties to the Restoration party.

A new third party, carefully led ahead, could pull the rug right out from under the Republican party in the same way the communists have succeeded in taking over the party formerly known as "democrats"...

It is OUR Republic and it is OUR Government.  THEY WORK FOR US, not the other way around.  That's what needs to be relayed very clearly.

Some good points, but I don't think it will take more than one or two States to start the breakaway. You can bet neighboring States will want to join a free USA. We just need one or two to establish a new home for freedom loving people.

IMO the idea that France was unusually left wing for Europe is just a meme. It's a fairly large country with the same rural urban divisions the US has.

@Weird Tolkienish Figure

That is true TODAY,but it wasn't always. At one time not too long ago in America,the big cities didn't control the political system. The Dims/Communists "fixed" that by providing public housing,free food,and free everything else to anyone that had a pulse and was willing to move to a slum in the city in order to become a professional "Vic-Tum" and register Dim.

The rural areas in the America of today are still as conservative as ever,but their political power has been undercut by the parasites living in the big cities.

This was no accident.

Remember back when young people would move to a city to find a high-paying job,but then move back home when they retired,bringing their children with them,or at least having their young adult children visit them often enough to see what rural living was like?

This doesn't happen anymore. It used to be a case where only the really big cities like NYC or Chicago had majority multi-generational city dweller populations,but it seems to be normal now to have families originally from rural areas who haven't had anyone living or moving "back" home in two or three generations.

Sooo,"Big Massa Goobermint" that sees all,knows all,and writes the checks,is the norm for most citizens. They see multi-generational people living in welfare housing that barely speak understandable English and can't read or write who can't remember the last time anyone in their family had a job,and accept this !as normal. "Hit bees de rural white man redneck MoFo what bees keep-in de bruthers doawn,dontcha no,and dey bees Republicans."
