Hemingway: If Lockdowns Worked, California Wouldn’t Have This Problem
December 28, 2020 By Jordan Davidson

The Federalist Senior Editor Mollie Hemingway criticized California’s strict lockdown policies for not only failing to prevent a public health crisis but also disregarding scientific findings and hurting people and the economy in the process.

“If lockdowns worked in terms of public health, California would not be having a problem right now,” Hemingway said on Fox News’ “Outnumbered” on Monday.

“The New York Times is reporting that, of these shortages in hospitals, a big part is staffing shortages,” she continued. “That’s because something like one out of every seven nurses is unable to work because of the lockdowns of schools. If a lot of nurses have children, and when their children aren’t able to be at school, that means they can’t be at the hospitals.”

1. Apparently, ~90% occupancy of ICUs is normal in CA for this time of the year.

2. CA's quasi-lockdown during late spring through early fall, IMO, hindered the development of "herd immunity" at a time when occupancy was lower. And now that the weather and people's normal habits favor viral transmission, CA's people are paying a price for that foolish tyrranocratic overreach (as are other hyper-blue states, like NY and NJ).
If, as anti-Covid-vaxxers claim, https://www.poynter.org/fact-checking/2021/robert-f-kennedy-jr-said-the-covid-19-vaccine-is-the-deadliest-vaccine-ever-made-thats-not-true/ , https://gospelnewsnetwork.org/2021/11/23/covid-shots-are-the-deadliest-vaccines-in-medical-history/ , The Vaccine is deadly, where in the US have Pfizer and Moderna hidden the millions of bodies of those who died of "vaccine injury"? Is reality a Big Pharma Shill?

Millions now living should have died. Anti-Covid-Vaxxer ghouls hardest hit.

Noisome called for California's strongest lockdown on Dec. 4, I live in Huntington Beach, CA in OC and I gotta tell you that what I am seeing around me is everyone giving goobernator a-hole a great big one finger salute. My barber shop is open, hair and nail salons are open, about the only place I see any compliance is no indoor dining but take out and outdoor dining is continuing. Since I have never been a real big going out to eat person the most inconvenient thing I have to tolerate is wearing a do nothing mask. I actually benefit with the special early shopping hours for seniors.

What I am seeing is people fed up with being treated like criminals and the rebellion is building day by day.
