Biden: Let's Face It, Our 'Mandate' is Cooperation and Decency

In a post last week that rankled some liberals, I laid out a case that if Joe Biden were to win the presidency, he won't possess much of a policy mandate.  I wrote, "he had some issues he'd talk about, but a lot of his policy messaging was about what he wouldn't do...but the thrust of his campaign was, 'I'm not Trump, who is a bad person.  We need to come together and heal.'  If anything, that -- governing in a broadly unifying manner -- is Biden's mandate, based on the pillars of his campaign and the election results."  The one exception to this argument could be Biden implementing a national approach to containing and defeating Coronavirus, a theme he hit on frequently.  It now appears his anti-COVID efforts could be hugely streamlined by the emergence of an effective vaccine developed during the Trump administration (and yes, in spite of some insane politicization from America's worst governor, and other spin to the contrary, Pfizer's Operation Warp Speed partnership is both undeniably real and a major accomplishment -- and will be an enduring piece of the president's legacy if this cure, or any of the OWS-tied vaccines, turn out to be the big cure).

I'll confess that I did not anticipate Biden would explicitly endorse my point in his election victory speech in Delaware over the weekend.  The projected president-elect made mention of certain policy areas he'll focus on -- from healthcare, to 'racial justice,' to the 'battle to save the climate' -- but his strongest emphasis by far was on the wider task of achieving healing, unity and cooperation.  In case you missed it, watch:

There isn't one honest or decent bone in this traitor's body.

If we had an honest FBI, he would never have been the Dem candidate, for he would have been indicted.  The time has come to end the FBI.  It is corrupt.  I say terminate everyone above first line supervision and merge it into Homeland Security.

Anyone that knows the history of the FBI knows it is anything but honorable.

Biden has on the wallboard behind him  OFFICE OF THE PRESIDENT ELECT   What a rat f*&^!!!!!!!  He is president elect only according to a corrupt media.  All should hang for treason.

This lying f*&^ and his thoughts make me want to toss my cookies.

The lies just never cease.  He claims there were 20 million without healthcare, but when Obamacare was implemented, the number used was 30 -35 million.

Reports today indicate it is now 70 million without healthcare, and I have a dozen friends that are without that had it before Obamacare.  Their premiums doubled, tripled, quadrupled.  One friend had healthcare that was around $500 per month before Obamacare, and it is now $2,500.  He and his family go without.

We reinvented the wheel just to cover pre-existing conditions.  Insane doing anything the Dems want in this nation. 

Most of these pukes are globalists on both sides of the aisle, and that is why Trump got little cooperation.  Until we address this in the nation, we will be on our knees.

Trump wins this, or the nation dies a swift death with this knucklehead!

Pfizer has gotten the media attention - something that would not have happened had the announcement been before the election or after an apparent Trump win - but three vaccines are approaching being qualified for Emergency Use Authorization: AstraZeneca, Moderna, and Pfizer. These are the results of the Trump Administration partnering with these companies, all the way back in January in the case of Moderna. In addition, vaccines from Johnson & Johnson and Novavax are also in the final testing phase, though not for as long as the first three.

But developing and testing the vaccines is only part of the vaccines picture. The Trump Administration has also helped companies develop volume manufacturing partnerships, contracted for the supply of miscellanies such as syringes, needles, vials, and disposable, arranged for distribution, and coordinated logistics through the DoD and with the various states. Biden and his task force do not have the imagination nor the wide range of experience to put together the full-range development-to-injections mass-scale effort Trump and his people have.

My big concern is that Biden and his peeps will F#$% up or scrap what Trump did in some combination of ignorance and spite.
