Opinion: The Left Has Delusions of Grandeur Over Kamala’s Odds in Veep Debate

It’s a curious thing, the reality that our friends on the Left choose to live in. If you happened to listen in to their takeaways from the first of three, 2020 presidential debates between President Donald Trump and former Vice President Joe Biden on Tuesday night, you might be convinced that Joe Biden won the debate going away, the president was so obnoxious to Sleepy Joe and moderator Chris Wallace that it might be in the country’s best interest to cancel the other debates, and Donald Trump is directing a full orchestra of racist dog whistles for a citizen militia group most Americans have never heard of.
Maybe it was kind of like an adrenaline rush or some other, pharmaceutical high, the jubilant mood that leftists and their media allies found themselves in in the minutes following the debate. And with the unalloyed confidence of madmen and snake oil salesmen, it sort of follows that they would already start talking up how their presidential vice presidential nominee, Sen. Kamala Harris (D-Calif.), will do in the debate next Tuesday. Take a gander at this malarkey I found on the Twitters:
