Steelers' Ryan Shazier announces retirement from NFL: 'I am excited to discover what's next'

Some of you may have heard about Ryan Shazier and the paralyzing injury that has ended his pro football career.  Granted, I'm sure the announcement of his retirement was written for him, but please note the total absence of whining and blaming whitey for Mr. Shazier's misfortunes:
