Report: NFL Dropping Military Honor Guards for National Anthem

The NFL is preparing to end the use of military honor guards to present the American flag ahead of the national anthem, according to reports.

A league source claims that the policy benching military, federal, and police guards is part of its COVID-19 response, according to Front Office Sports.

“They won’t be on the field,” a source told the site. “That could change as the season progresses. But that’s the plan at the beginning.”

It appears that there will be no flags on the field and the flag will only appear on electronic scoreboards during the playing of the national anthem, at least for the beginning of the season.

This Covid thing sure is coming in handy to the left - they're using it to implement ALL their issues.

We can expect pandemics annually from now on.

The observation I'm making, while racial, is hardly racist.
Blacks/Negroes dominate the NFL; on some teams they exceed 80%.
They radiate the attitudes, behaviors, impulses, sentiments and traits
of their culture, rather than those of average people.
Rebellion is now in the air among black Americans and those in the NFL
want to participate rather than simply draw a paycheck.

Misleading headline. The ban also applies to mascots, cheerleaders, marching bands, or anything that isn't directly related to the game at hand.
