New York Facing Threats of Second Shutdown

Much to the frustration of many political leaders, Americans are tiring of increasingly austere restrictions upon their lives and movements. The fact that politicians and health officials are marketing these restrictions as beneficial to fighting coronavirus does not change the reactions.

This past weekend, many New York residents gathered with one another without “masking up” or putting six feet between themselves and others. Such a move absolutely enraged New York Governor Andrew Cuomo (D).

I wonder how Cuomo will spin this - he's been going around claiming credit for doing a 'fantastic job' managing the virus, now the party wants him to shut down with the rest of the blue states to hobble the economy.

I do not want this to happen, or see more people come down with the virus.

It would stand to reason that the next major shut down would be in the state with the most deaths, caused by its Governor's mandate, demanding COVID patients be warehoused among the most vulnerable of its citizens.

After all the posturing he did about how "great" he handled everything, and slamming red states for not being as brilliant as he, he should have been more humble, and admitted the fault of his destructive nursing home folly.
