First of all, you guys, get a load of this.

That’s Dianne Feinstein trying to explain why she believed and fought for Christine Blasey Ford, and why Tara Reade’s claims are “ridiculous.”

See, the cases are “totally different” because in Kavanaugh’s case, he was “under the harshest inspection that we give people over a substantial period of time,” Feinstein said.

And then she said this pile of steaming bullsh*t:

“And I don’t know this person at all who has made the allegations. She came out of nowhere. Where has she been all these years? He was Vice President. To attack him in this way to me is absolutely ridiculous.”

She for real said that.  Never mind that we all had to deal with Kavanaugh’s accuser and her supporters relying on absolutely COMICAL “evidence” from his FREAKING HIGH SCHOOL YEARBOOK, and Ford had NO corroborating witnesses to her story.  Never mind that she ALSO waited years.  Ford was believed by Feinstein, and Reade is not.  Period.  End of story.

But wait. It gets better.  She went on to say, “And so these accusations are very disturbing because they do have an impact on an individual, and every indication I would have is that they would be false until I was shown otherwise.”

See? This accusation is different than Kavanaugh because in BIDEN’s case, the accusation has “an impact on an individual.”  OMG.  As if Ford’s accusation DIDN’T have an impact.  Is she freaking high?

The "new evidence" consists of a document indicating that Reade told her former husband that she allegedly was sexually harassed while working in the  then-senator's office.  It does not say who allegedly harassed her, nor does it mention specifically the alleged assault she claims was done to her by Biden.

So in other words, this chippy still doesn't have any evidence to corroborate her claim.

   The demonrats were gonna take gropey joe out anyway.  I think this is a coordinated trial run orchestrated by the West Wing to promptly take out his successor, whoever that fool is.  Tara has as much credibility as Kavanaugh's accusers, NADA, zilch.

Biden campaign responds to Tara Reade interview: 'More and more inconsistencies arise'

Presumptive Democratic presidential nominee Joe Biden’s deputy campaign manager said Thursday that “more inconsistencies” are arising regarding the allegation of sexual assault raised by Biden’s former Senate staffer Tara Reade.

“Women must receive the benefit of the doubt. They must be able to come forward and share their stories without fear of retribution or harm - and we all have a responsibility to ensure that,” deputy campaign manager Kate Bedingfield said in a statement. “At the same time, we can never sacrifice the truth. And the truth is that these allegations are false and that the material that has been presented to back them up, under scrutiny, keeps proving their falsity.”

Reade discussed her allegations Thursday in her first televised interview since Biden publicly denied the allegations.


In her interview with Megyn Kelly, Reade called for Biden to end his campaign.

“Please step forward and be held accountable,” Reade said. “You should not be running on character for president of the United States.”

Bedingfield accused Reade of shifting her story, noting differences in interviews conducted with Reade as well as with one of her friends between now and last year.

Accountable for what?  Seems that Reade has no evidence to back up her story. So there is nothing for Biden to be held accountable for.

OTOH, I pointed out that unlike Blasey Ford, it was further evidence she had spoken about it to people at the time. I also pointed out that it disproves the claim at least one Biden-defender has made that the women coming forward to corroborate that Reade had spoken of it contemporaneously were cases of false memory.

You're right of course, but we agree it's still no proof she was assaulted.   By the way, I heard Reade claimed she reported this alleged incident to some higher-ups, but they either deny she did outright or say they don't remember.  But then again, those people could be trying to protect Biden.  I still think her story is fishy.
