Wouldn’t it be funny to walk into an event like this and just start taking stuff?

The College Fix reports:

    Harvard Law hosts discussion on abolition of police forces

    Two of the more radical proposals to come out of our nation’s colleges of late are the dismantlement of the country’s prisons … and police forces.

    Last Thursday, Harvard Law School hosted Alex Vitale, coordinator of the Policing and Social Justice Project at Brooklyn College. He discussed his book “The End of Policing” which examines “alternatives to the police system” and “the dangers of modern policing tactics,” according to The Crimson.

Yea sure. There is a point to this.
What they are advocating is a return to the 17th, 18th, and 19th century.
It would be the wild, wild, west all over again.
Someone does you or your family wrong, or threatens you...just take care of it yourself.
Who knows, society might get better if people know they could get shot.

I'm 100% a-okay with abolishing police departments.

First: Police have no obligation to protect law abiding citizens.

Second: They are obligated to protect criminals.

So I do not need the police to protect me since they don't do that anyway.

And if there are no police then there's no one to protect the criminals from law abiding citizens and duly elected Sheriffs, marshals, and their deputized posse members.

The police of those profs' and activists' communities should hands those idiots nice big signs saying, "The residents of this home will never call the police in response to break-ins." And similar bumperstickers for their cars.
