If you read a publication that claims newspapers have become biased, you might assume that the source of that charge was conservative. However, it might surprise you to know that even the liberal New York Review of Books also made that claim of bias in their February 27 issue in an article by Nicholas Lemann, "Can Journalism Be Saved?"

The story was a review of books about the state of newspaper journalism. Lemann was discussing a couple of books by Michael Schudson and Matthew Pressman when he made the unusual admission of flat-out newspaper bias in recent years:

It's not just the rags.  Most news organs are heavily biased against conservatives.
For instance, there's a CBS news site in Wisconsin I regularly visit.
The site has an opinion section with several...uh...opinionators.
They're all hard, hard liberals with never a good word for any conservative or Republican.
In short, average Americans who seek info on the issues are overwhelmingly deluged with lib/leftist propaganda.
The sin is that most of them don't realize it. They think they're getting unbiased news.
I remember reading somewhere that lib media propaganda gives lib candidates a ten percent edge over conservative candidates every election. I believe it.
