There is no charismatic figure on the Dem side to motivate semi-disinterested voters. In fact, they have two candidates, Sanders and Buttegieg, who either have political positions that turn off prospective voters or age factor /social positions or personal characteristics that turn them off. Even Liz Warren does not inspire female voters the way Hillary Clinton did. I don't know why she doesn't, she's just as big a leftist as Clinton.
Both Sanders and Buttigieg give speeches calling the U.S. an evil country.
Sanders is ancient and a virtual commie. He's hardly an inspirational figure.
Buttigieg tries to sound more reasonable, and he has a military background.
But he has two huge moral failings: he lies about his radicalism trying to come off as a moderate. And, of course, he's a homosexual. That's the elephant in the room that even many "conservative" pundits/scribblers/commentators avoid mentioning.
Even conservative media types who do mention it state his homosexuality doesn't bother them.
But it will certainly be a huge factor with millions of voters, like me, who will not tolerate a homosexual in the highest office.
And no, there's no proof James Buchanan was a homosexual. Read up on it.
