    Iowa officials will release a sex offender who is a biological man who obtained a sex change.
    News of the sex offender’s release comes after a preliminary report indicated the offender is not a threat.
    Joseph Matthew Smith, 23, molested up to 15 children between the ages of 1 and 13.

Iowa officials will release a biological man who molested up to 15 children and then obtained a sex change after a preliminary report indicated the sex offender is not a threat.

The Iowa attorney general’s office filed a Jan. 9 motion announcing that it will no longer recommend that 23-year-old Joseph Matthew Smith, who now identifies as a woman, be institutionalized in the Cherokee Civil Commitment Unit for Sex Offenders (CCUSO), the Storm Lake Times reported in January.

Authorities convicted Smith of second-degree sex abuse as a juvenile in 2012 and of lascivious acts with a child in 2014, attorney general spokesman Lynn Hicks told the Daily Caller News Foundation, whereby Smith was sentenced to 10 years in prison.

The motion, Hicks provided to the DCNF, asks that Smith “be released from confinement to begin serving his 903B supervision after he has completed sex offender registration.”

He's not in jail on the basis of his possibility of being a threat. He was sentenced to incarceration for the acts he's already committed. It doesn't matter now that he's wearing his hair long or taking hormones. He should serve his entire sentence behind bars.

After a convicted sex criminal was locked away because of all the heinous acts he committed against his myriad victims. The former Midwest Christian Services student changed his gender. Now the Iowa Attorney General’s Office has decided to let the sex offender go because his gender change has made him less of a threat to the people in the community as identified in a court document from January 9, 2020.

Court records show that the Attorney general spokesman, Lynn Hicks, admitted that they had dismissed the convicted sex offender because “an offender’s hormone levels are an important part of substantiating an offender’s likelihood of recidivism.”

This MAN is still going to rape children.

This judge should be disbarred........ and have the pants sued off him by the parent of every child, past and future whose life was destroyed by a monster.

I think the "judge" is just following NY's new law that happens to be immoral.  I feel sorry for the folks in NY who aren't Democrats.  It sucks to be dragged down by the idiocy of others.
