Candace Owens delivers brutal rebuke of Democrats: ‘They want their slaves back’

The Democratic Party's perspective on African-Americans can be summed up in one Tweet.

by Michio Hasai  February 5, 2020

There have been three major events that have helped African-Americans advance in our society. The first was when Republican President Abraham Lincoln took the nation into a righteous civil war to demonstrate all men truly are created equal. The second was when the vast majority of Republicans on Capitol Hill fought racism with over 80% of them voting in favor of the Civil Rights Act of 1964 (as compared to barely 60% of Democrats).

The third is happening right before our eyes as African-Americans are enjoying the lowest unemployment and highest wages in our nation’s history. Despite being popular with Black voters, President Obama took African-American unemployment to over 16% by the middle of his first term. Under President Trump, African-American unemployment has dropped below 6% for seven consecutive months.

No government in the 12,000 years of modern mankind history has led its people into anything but the history books with a simple lesson, don't let this happen to you.

That tweet will draw blood....

Trump is such a weird, unpredictable guy.  I remember him talking about the black vote back in 2016.  Turns out that he truly believes in it, and he's done more than any President in recent history to try to truly earn their votes.

Anyone who things he's racist is nuts.  He's very pro-American, pro-citizen.  And if you are a citizen, he doesn't give two poops about your ethnicity.

Is her claim about black poverty being the lowest in history true? For some reason, I can't find anything to back that claim
I have little interest in streamlining government or in making it more efficient, for I mean to reduce its size. I do not undertake to promote welfare, for I propose to extend freedom. My aim is not to pass laws, but to repeal them.

I believe that Owens and Trump want to persuade blacks, to leave their support of democrats, in favor of Republicans instead.

I support that goal, for it is good for them, and for our country.

Should some of their claims fail total, absolute truth doesn't deter me from continuing to support the directional goal.

@LMAO

Even anti-Trump Politifact said this:

Quote
Is African-American, Hispanic poverty at all-time low?
At a rally in Wheeling, W.Va, President Donald Trump touted record-low poverty rates for minorities in the United States.

"The poverty rates for African Americans and Hispanic Americans -- it’s been incredible, they’ve all reached their lowest levels in the history of our country," he said at the rally on Sept. 29, 2018.

Is this correct? Yes, at least as far back as poverty data has been calculated.

That's actually a hell of a stat.  Kudos to Trump.

OK thank you. For some reason I couldn’t find it
