Buttigieg Says American ‘Economy Needed 11 Million’ Illegal Immigrants

Democratic presidential candidate Pete Buttigieg told a crowd in Des Moines, Iowa Saturday that the American “economy needed 11 million†illegal immigrants to stay functioning.
Buttigieg was asked by a member of the audience, “Do you think illegal immigration is a problem in the United States?â€
The former mayor answered, “There’s no question we have to fix the system — for sure.
