Alexander Acosta Labor Secretary resigned under pressure concerning his "sweetheart deal" with Jeffrey Epstein.  He was under consideration for AG after Sessions was removed, but was forced to resign instead.

Trump put it on the table.

Barr went to Mexico and met with Lopez Obrador in case, one does not know. That was like yesterday:

So, I see this as having talked it out. I'm sure there are things we did not previously know and we should at least, have more border checks ourselves to keep guns from going down there. Also, I'm sorry, American Drug users help fuel the crisis.

    He'll bring it up a couple of more times before the Election because it plays well with his Base, just like closing the Border, regardless of the impracticality of it's possibility.

Actually @corbe the President used this to get Mexico's attention .... as he did and continues to do with tariffs.

It sure didn't take long for Mexico to invite the American AG for a meeting, did it.   888blackhat

Try thinking beyond CNN's talking points.

   I don't watch CNN or any of them @Right_in_Virginia including FOX.  As an informed, by other means, bystander I witness this daily show and have concluded that a bunch of bulimics support this guy because of the steady diet of meat he throws out there. Don't get me wrong, at this point, he is our only hope, doesn't mean I have to like it.

And every time I think Trump is doing something good, then he isn't.  The only way that the two countries need to negotiate is for them both to designate the Cartels for what they are.  Terrorists.  Working together is agreeing that these organizations are engaged in terrorist actions against the people of Mexico and against the citizens of the Unite States of America.

If you want to keep guns and drugs from going in either direction designate them terrorists so that we can use the appropriate law enforcement for terrorism.
