Opposition Activist Sobol Detained By Police Ahead Of Moscow Protest

MOSCOW -- A prominent Russian opposition activist was detained by police in Moscow on August 3 ahead of a planned protest to demand free elections.
Lyubov Sobol, who is on hunger strike, was detained in a taxi as she tried to make her way to the protest and driven off in a police van.
"On what grounds are you detaining me?" Sobol repeated as police took her to the vehicle.

So, it sounds like more protests in Russia today. As said in the other thread, some reports are these people are protesting over very low-level elections over there and not getting any kind of real opposition running against Putin-back-candidates. The protesters deserve our full support.
