Another season of the New England Patriots aspiring to be mediocre.

The Bills-Ravens game was phenomenal.  Like watching two heavy weight champion fighters slug it out for 15 rounds.

Congrats, Bills!  The AFC East is all yours.  The Jets are ... The Jets.  Miami Dolphins have beached themselves.  The Patriots have reverted to the mean, to be The Patsies of old.

Thank goodness the Steelers didn't keep Wilson or Fields (both were on the roster last year).

Since in the current day, Qbacks almost double as running backs, this is no surprise to me @DCPatriot .

At one time the Qback was instructed to stay in the pocket.

Yes, you're right, but it seems odd that it went from less than 10% to over 50% in my lifetime.

Thought about possibly the number of Black High School and College QBs would explain the increase.

Ward - lost
Stroud - lost
Prescott - lost
Smith - won
Hurts - won
Daniels - won
Love - won
Fields - lost
Murray - won
Jackson - lost
Penix - lost
Mahomes - lost
Wilson - lost
Rattler - lost

So the brothers were 5-10 in Week 1, with the game yet to be decided a probable L (Vikings are favored against Williams' Bears). Well, at least there are social justice slogans on their fields. It takes all of us! Inspire change! End racism!

UPDATE: Williams' Bears lost Monday night after the Vikings came from behind. Final tally 5-11.

Tyreek Hill accused of domestic violence by estranged wife

Tyreek Hill's estranged wife has alleged in court filings that he committed domestic violence, which the Miami Dolphins receiver has vehemently denied.

According to documents obtained by TMZ, Keeta Vaccaro alleges eight separate incidents of domestic violence in filings related to the couple's divorce case.

Hill's attorney said in a statement Monday that the allegations are part of a "shakedown," adding that they are "an attempt to generate bad media coverage" for Hill.

According to TMZ, Vaccaro alleges that the first incident occurred in January 2024, about two months after her marriage to Hill.

Hill has not been criminally charged, and it was unclear as of Tuesday morning whether law enforcement was investigating Vaccaro's allegations.

Vaccaro filed a petition for divorce on April 8, one day after police reported a domestic dispute between her and Hill.
