'You Hate White People': Rush Limbaugh On Why Leftists Rushed to Judge MAGA Boys

On his radio show Wednesday, Rush Limbaugh said leftists in the media and on Twitter rushed to judge the students of Covington Catholic High School because they're filled with hatred for white people and traditional America.

    And who are these people on Twitter? They’re anonymous. Nobody knows who they are. They have names, usernames. You can’t tell who they are, and yet they are given weight that is the equivalent to a credible, provable, documented, expert sourcing. And they’re nothing but a bunch of ragtag, unhappy, militant, invisible and anonymous kids in their pajamas and whoever knows — retired professors and so forth — and they’re simply out there. They’re affecting the Academy Award nominations. When I say “they,” we don’t know who “they” are.

    And they would be anonymous. They would not be relevant to anything if the media hadn’t decided to hype Twitter and to use Twitter as credible source substitution, and the reason is simple: The media has become a left-wing mob on its own. Twitter is a left-wing mob. It’s not hard to find similar left-wing mob opinion and psychology on Twitter. So if you go into a story like the Covington kids story and you see this kid smirking (in your mind) and smiling and wearing a MAGA hat, it triggers everything that you hate.

But now, it's OK for Rush to say as much. And many (most?) of the readers of this forum will agree with him.

A lot. This ain't 1989 anymore. The left is a lot more brazen than it used to be.

The more it becomes apparent that white people aren't the cause of the failures of the left's pet groups, the more the left has to concoct fake reasons for their failures. "white privilege" "the patriarchy" "misogyny" etc.
1989 is around the year that a female academic named Peggy McIntosh created the term "white privilege" in an article called "White Privilege and Male Privilege: A Personal Account of Coming to See Correspondences Through Work in Women’s Studies" and its shorter version, "White Privilege: Unpacking the Invisible Knapsack."
She went around the country giving lectures about how white people (especially white males) were given at birth all these special privileges that nobody else in America had.
With her bullsh*t theory of why the left's pet groups suffer failures, McIntosh has made a pretty good living and influenced thousands of other nutjob race-hustlers.

The other matter here is these boys were just boys, who have not achieved maturity.  In most cases, and even in the judicial system, immaturity gets a pass compared to adults.

They were not given this decency whatsoever.

I don't think that is true.  The left in the 60s and 70s torched a lot,  brazenly marched in the streets and did all in their power to denigrate the US during a war.

The real difference is that they now can get away with it more readily and do not have to flee to Canada.
