Pompeo Welcomes Mexico-UN Plan to Deal With Migrant ‘Caravan’ at Mexico’s Southern Border
(CNSNews.com) – Secretary of State Mike Pompeo on Thursday night welcomed Mexico’s request for the U.N. refugee agency to help Mexican authorities deal with the “caravan†of some 4,000 Central American migrants trying to transit Mexico en route to the United States.
In response to a plan to set up migrant processing centers along Mexico’s southern border with Guatemala, Pompeo, who was in Panama ahead of a visit to Mexico on Friday, said the U.S. was ready to help Mexico and the U.N. High Commissioner for Refugees (UNHCR) in the effort.

So...exactly how is the UN going to determine who is actually seeking asylum? It's not like there is some kind of documentation or paperwork stating who is who. So this procedure is bogus and nothing more than a bunch of lip service so that those in the U.S. think that they are actually doing something other than placing these people in host countries including the U.S.
Out of this deal how man people is the U.S. obligated to take?
Lousy deal. This has done nothing that I can tell to discourage the next caravan from coming through.
Build a wall. Arm the border. Keep them the heck out of our country!
