This story went live last night before 6:30 p.m. ET, when NBC aired its clown-show interview with Swetnick. Did Collins watch it?

Does she still think the feds should devote days of extra investigation to running it down, bearing in mind that reporters from various outfits have spent the past week dumpster-diving to find so much as one witness who can corroborate Swetnick’s claims — with no luck? NBC itself noted on-air before the interview ran that it tried to find supporting witnesses and couldn’t. Of the four names Swetnick provided to them, “One of them says he does not recall a Julie Swetnick. Another of the friends is deceased. We’ve reached out to the other two, but haven’t heard back.”

I thought she was backing off her claims that she knew it was Kavanaugh who was there.

She needs to be held accountable for her lies.

Flake is also making noises about not voting for Kavanaugh, so despite these people getting what they wanted, an FBI investigation, at least, Flake is going back on his word.

Flake is probably a no. Murkowski is quiet. Collins wants to see the results of the "investigation". I sure hope McConnell is having a nice long talk with Collins and Murkowski about their future positions in the Senate if they don't vote yes. He can't do much with Flake, his career as a Pub is over and he's retiring from the Senate.

If Collins and Murkowski don't come through there should be consequences for them.

Folks, I think Mitch McConnell better consider delaying that confirmation vote.

I've read elsewhere that Flake the snake is still calling for "more investigation".

I will go on the record as predicting that if there is a vote at the end of the week, Flake (the snake) will vote either "no" or at best, "present".

Collins and Murkowski cannot be trusted either.
I really doubt we're going to get "aye" votes from either of them.

Y'all know what my recommendation is for this:
a. Postpone the confirmation vote for now
b. Force a recess in the Senate
c. Mr. Trump can then recess-appoint Judge Kavanaugh to the Court.
d. Hold the confirmation as a first order of business in January -- a "straight up or down" vote, no further committees, discussions or "investigations". We will have a larger majority then, and Flake (the snake) will be gone. Collins and Murkowski will no longer matter.

When the democrat-communists go nuclear on you, go THERMOnuclear in return. Blast them outta their minds.
They're halfway there, anyway!

There is no evidence of anything except that woman is crazy. Collins will wish it wasn't investigated when the FBI take Julie into custody.
