The fallout continues after athletic gear manufacturer Nike made a bombshell announcement that none other than Colin Kaepernick would be the centerpiece of their “Just Do It†ad campaign.
The backlash was immediate and intense and if he wasn’t such an insufferably feckless character, you could almost feel sorry for NFL Commissioner Roger Goodell.
Things were already bad enough for the NFL as another season of discontent will kick off on Thursday night with no end in sight for the divisive sideline protests but Monday was hell day for Commissioner Roger Goodell.
