Jerry Falwell Jr. to Pen Political Book With ‘Gay Marriage’ Advocate, Evolution Adherent Jimmy Carter

LYNCHBURG, Va. — Jerry Falwell, Jr., the president of Liberty University, which hails itself as the world’s largest Christian university, says that he is writing a book with former Democratic President Jimmy Carter, the specifics of which have not yet been announced. Carter, who has publicly expressed his support for “gay marriage” and says that he believes in evolution, claims to be a born again Christian and teaches Sunday School in Georgia.

According to The Hill, Falwell announced that he was joining forces with Carter to write the book during the Washington premiere of Dinesh D’Souza’s film “Death of a Nation.”

“We just started working on it,” he said. “It’ll take a year, I bet.”

Falwell also shared the report on social media, writing, “I believe a political revolution is underway in our great nation. Instead of conservative v. liberal, the future will be progressive elites (think Woodrow Wilson, Margaret Sanger, ?@HillaryClinton?, Hitler, Soros) v. freedom loving average Americans!”

 
As previously reported, Carter has raised eyebrows several times in recent years over his statements about Christianity, such as in 2015, when he told the Huffington Post that he believes Jesus would approve of same-sex “marriage,” and really, “any love affair.”

Well there you have it.  The future of American politics and the church.  Time to leave the rotting corpse of Christianity, and identify only as a follower of Jesus Christ.  This new Christianity has nothing to do with Christ.

I was born and raised in Lynchburg; I live ten minutes outside the city.  My in-laws are friends with the Falwell family.  I’m familiar with Jerry’s motives.

He’s always been driven by the desire for fame, to be associated with well-known names like his father.   Christian principles take a backseat.

 I started paying attention when Mitt Romney was the LU commencement speaker after stating his approval for gay marriage.  Since then, Jerry’s been on a tear, scrounging every big name he can find.  He’s obsessed with making Liberty the largest/most well-known etc.  He built an eyesore of a tower that changes colors like the Empire State Building and brags that it’s the tallest structure in Lynchburg, which I doubt.  He literally carved out the side of a mountain and emblazoned it with a massive “LU” sign.

Don’t expect anything involving conservative or Christian principles from this guy.  Recently, when Lynchburg was flooding and a dam was in danger of breaking,  people were being evacuated by boat.  The Salvation Army and some churches quickly set up shelters.  But that fool was on Twitter, bleating about Trump.  He was shamed into shutting up and joining the effort; he got around to it the next day.

I read an interesting account of the way White fleeced an elderly follower. She strikes me as pure BS.  Before she ever associated herself with Trump, I recall seeing her preach at black churches, using a ridiculously affected black dialect.

Yeah and she had an affair with Benny Hinn.  The guy makes me absolutely puke.  He is also good friends with the pastor from Bethel.  The nuts that think they can suck up the blessings from dead people's graves.  These people are all connected, and very rich. 

I used to go to a prosperity church.  I see good people deceived.  God said he would meet all of our needs.  There are certain scriptures taken out of context to make people believe they will become rich.  Fact is that there is a small group in the church who prosper.  They are rich.  Jesus isn't Sugar Daddy.  He expects us to use what we receive to help others.  To forward the gospel.  Do I believe we should give?  Yes, and how should the money be spent?  To pay the bills and forward the gospel.  Not to lavish people in excesses.

Falwell Jr. was very revealing here about the future of politics and Christianity.  President Trump is advised by these people.  I know one thing is that Jimmy Carter is off his rocker.  Terrorist loving liberal socialist who has never held a place with any Conservative.  I am certain that he is revealing the direction that this President is taking us.
