"I wish it need not have happened in my time," said Frodo.

"So do I," said Gandalf, "and so do all who live to see such times. But that is not for them to decide. All we have to decide is what to do with the time that is given us."

  • Cruz 2016- a Constitutional Conservative at last!
Yet the DNC never turned their servers over to the FBI and still haven't. They hired a third party service to look at the DNC servers, so the DOJ is indicting on the findings of an IT professional (who? the Awans?)

The timing, right when Trump was meeting with the Queen was stunning. Also takes Strzok off the front page.

I don't believe a word out of Rosenstein's mouth. Then he gave a little lecture about politics. What a putz!

Where is Session?

These FBI stooges through their testimony, body language and all, couldn't have made it more clear that they consider themselves partisan opponents of this administration.

The sooner a dramatic shakeup at the top happens the better.

  • All deserve a trial if accused
"All 12 are members of GRU, the Russian intelligence agency."

GRU, not KGB, is the equivalent of our CIA I am told....

I also get this headline which, imo, is quite a bit juicier:

Russian officers indicted for allegedly hacking Clinton campaign, DNC emails

Still, the story is a nonstarter for me, of course, intelligence agencies are out there hacking and doing such things.

Over the years, the Brits have interfered with our elections a lot more than the Russians.

I had heard months back that Russians had tried to hack RNC servers as well, but RNC security was superior and they failed.

Now this casts a completely different hue on the story, making it less about the Russians helping Trump and more about 'rat incompetency, so of course the media isn't interested.

Wikileaks Exposes CIA Exploit Capable Of Cyber "False Flag" Attack To Blame Russia

Quote
Earlier today, Wikileaks once again made headlines following its release of the “largest ever publication of U.S. Central Intelligence Agency (CIA) documents.” The massive release – just the first batch in a trove of documents code-named “Vault 7” by Wikileaks – details the CIA’s global covert hacking program and its arsenal of weaponized exploits.

As Wikileaks notes, the UMBRAGE group and its related projects allow the CIA to misdirect the attribution of cyber attacks by “leaving behind the ‘fingerprints’ of the very groups that the attack techniques were stolen from.”

In other words, the CIA’s sophisticated hacking tools all have a “signature” marking them as originating from the agency. In order to avoid arousing suspicion as to the true extent of its covert cyber operations, the CIA has employed UMBRAGE’s techniques in order to create signatures that allow multiple attacks to be attributed to various entities – instead of the real point of origin at the CIA – while also increasing its total number of attack types.

One month after that story, then CIA Director Mike Pompeo called Wikileaks a hostile entity, though both he and Trump had praised them during the 2016 election.

Pompeo declared it is, “time to call out WikiLeaks for what it really is -- a non-state hostile intelligence service often abetted by state actors like Russia....”

I'm baffled that even for the most ardent Trump supporter this is not a concern.

The Ruskies did their best to interfere with a US presidential election and because your guy won that's ok?

Had Hillary won, would the Trump supporter have the same view today.

Even 20 years ago every American would be outraged with any attempt by Russia or another country, whether successful or unsuccessful, to interfere with an American election....

Today...

I'm baffled at how Mr. Mueller an Mr. Rosenstein plan to EVER get the miscreants into a courtroom!  And also why they aren't after the Chinese who are MUCH better at this crap than the Russians. I'm also baffled at why Hillary Clinton and here entourage are not in prison already!
