The President has a real success story on the economy, but his lack of self-control is going to scuttle it.

The economy is steaming ahead. The unemployment rate is the lowest it has been in over a decade. People are going back to work, they are seeing the real benefits of tax reform, and people's retirement accounts are growing. But the President, who lacks self-control, seems hell bent on throwing a wrench into the swiftly moving economic gears for no reason. He wants to go through with tariffs and blow up NAFTA because he perceives tariffs are good and NAFTA is bad even though the opposite is true.

Congress can and should stop him . . .

The precedent has already been set during Obama's tenure as king that the Executive gets what he wants.  Even if SCOTUS has to rewrite legislation to make what is illegal, legal.

Trumplicans have told us themselves, a similar thing, that the GOP must get on board and give the president his agenda.

What Caesar wants, Caesar should get.  Make it legal, even if what he wants is illegal or stupid.

THAT is the precedent obviously.

"Stopping Trump" will be declared obstruction today, and 'treason' tomorrow.
