The American Civil Liberties Union launched a six-figure, celebrity-studded campaign Thursday to ensure immigrants know their rights in interactions with federal agents, including spots on Spanish radio and targeted, multilingual ads on Facebook and YouTube.
It includes videos voiced by Diane Guerrero from the Netflix series Orange Is the New Black and Kumail Nanjiani from HBO's Emmy Award-nominated series Silicon Valley. The ads feature the phone number to volunteer-led rapid response networks to flag immigration raids and help immigrants get legal representation.
